I just spent 20 minutes trying to reach the store, calling all the different departments...no one would pick up. The store's listing says it's open until 9. Then I listened to store hours. It closed at 8. Sure wished I had known.
When it's open, I like the store.

I work for belk at another location. Let's just say I was not happy that the clothes I put on hold were gone and hung up on the racks. When I first walk into the store at 750 I was greeted with a " can I help you were closing ". As I just got off work and I figured all they would have to do is grab the clothes off the rack behind the register and I'm out the door. Unfortunately all the clothes were spread out throughout the store. Still no biggie. Now as I'm cashing out I'm told the total, at this point I let the cashier know that I am an associate and would like my associate discount which at the time was 40% off. I was then given another total but noticed a 20% discount. Once I mentioned it a manager was called over, meanwhile I noticed detectors two on one shirt and one on another. I waited to see if she would take them off but no she did not. I asked if she could remove all scanners that buzz at the front door she began to remove them so I thought I'm fine. Walked out the door which is supposed to buzz as I leave with any clothing still with the scanners still on but no buzzing. Well the next morning when getting ready for church my nephews baptismal guess what is on the top collar of the shirt a damn scanner. Have to drive all the way back to get it taken off. And if I didn't keep the receipt for any reason or lost it I would be Sol. I guess thats what they mean when they say southern hospitality.
Nicely stocked and neat. Prices clearly marked and store was clean. Customer/sales personnel were not helpful and did not appear approachable. An act, as simple as a smile, could have improved customer service. Then my experience would have reflected 5 stars.
