Wonderful caring vets and techs. Love them.
I find way too much turnover in the Village Veterinarian. The technicians are great, but I don't feel the same about the doctors. I am switching to the Fruutland Park office so I can have Dr. Valdez the owner. He is awesome, professional, and very experienced as I saw him once at the Village Veterinsrian because he was covering there while they were looking for new doctors. He also dicovered a problem with my dog and a solution that no other vet has diagnosed in his 10 years of life. Just went to the Village Veterinarian today for a simple booster shot, another new doctor, and was not happy. She was giving my dog a lyme booster and was putting the injection in his spine on the top of his back. I was going to say something, but my dog jumped, so I didnt have to say anything. Then she put it in his back side where she should have put it in the first place. Who gives an injection on the top of the back near the spinebone! No bedside manner at all and she didn't look like she enjoyed her job. I don't get why there is so much turnover in this place. They have a 3.9 rating and Fruutland Park has a 4.8 rating and is owned by the same doctor. I have no complaints about the wait time as I don't wait long. There are many dogs here in the Villages and many are rescue dogs, therefore, they should have a top notch practice here so conveniently located as most people here are senior citizens. Yes, this is a Jersey attitude, but I speak my mind as my dog is my life and I will always look for the best care for him. I research vets and doctors. I just don't look in the yellow pages and pick a doctor I know nothing about.
Dr. Clark is very passionate about her work. She's an amazing veterinarian.
Dr. Clark is a very compassionate vet.
There has been some changes the past few months and not for the better. Although we had an appointment on the books for 4 days we never got to see the vet after waiting nearly 1.5 hrs while others with appointments after ours were taken back. The staff had no explanation for this and notified the office manager but she didn't even bother to come out to talk to us. After waiting 7 more minutes, we left and you would think someone would call us - nope. Only when I called about 30 minutes later to get our dogs records transferred to the vet clinic Dr Fox went to, did the office manager finally apologize but still no explanation.
